this is my art history project. I was copying Michelangelo's "the creation of Adam" this artwork was part of the Renaissance era. I added my own personal touches in the project just because I wanted it to be somewhat original and not exactly the same. I like how it turned out even though it was really frustrating to make.
This is A portrait of Riley Wilhite. I did most of it in colored pencil.the challenge was to try to make it look as much like the person as possible and try to add as much detail as possible. I tried my best and i think it resembles Riley a little bit but i don't think it looks like him. I tried my best and i was out of my element when it comes to colored pencils i don't really like the end result.
this is the cover of my "CD" project. i was supposed to come up with my own Band name and CD cover and all that jazz. my band name was "Titanic" the album name was "Chaos." the cover is just a candle burning. the back cover of the CD is just a bunch of paint splatters because i thought it would be cool.
This is my social conflict project. The topic was abortion. I am pro life so i am against abortion. I believe that abortions should not be legal at all in any way shape or form because when you get down to the core of the situation and if you don't sugar coat anything the mother is essentially killing a human being just because she doesn't want it. But that's how I feel.
I really enjoyed painting this project. This project really does reflect my feelings and i feel like i effectively expressed myself in this painting. The painting is simple but effective. The only color in the painting is in the letters, hair, the single tear, and the lips. The painting is a pregnant woman with a coffin instead of a baby in the womb. And the phrase "Among these are life" is from the declaration of independence. I love this project and i love how it turned out.

Eric Samuel Timm
Eric is a christian artist that I admire. He is a speed artist. He creates beautiful pieces of art in a matter of minutes. He never took a single art class in his life. The reason he decided to become an artist is because when he was at North central university he was researching in a library and he stumbled on some christian art work. when he saw it he was inspired to "change the way the world looks at Christian art" and in a way he did revolutionize christian art. his art mostly consists of paint but he also uses spray paint. he uses spray paint mainly for backgrounds and the borders of his paintings. every year he goes on a tour around all 50 of the united states of America. Not only does he paint but he also makes speeches and writes books. One of his first famous paintings was one of jesus. doesnt sound very original right? WRONG! he painted jesus upside down. at first to the audience jesus looks like a blob but when he turns the painting upside down you see a very clear picture of jesus on the cross. not only is this image very powerful but he also gives a speach about it.
